Guidelines
Willoway Publishing is a hybrid publisher offering full-service publishing assistance, including editing, coaching, printing and marketing. We provide high quality original cover art to make your work stand out in the marketplace. Our goal is to provide you with a quality product, a quality experience and quality performance in distribution.
As a matter of policy, we will review any submission that adheres to the following guidelines. Please note, we do not consider work that has explicit sexual content, excessive or unnecessary violence or overt profanity. We only accept material that is original and not written or enhanced by AI in any way, other than research or spellchecking. All contributors will be required to sign a statement saying that work is an entirely original creation. This requirement includes written material and visual art.
How to Submit:
At this time we accept submissions by email and postal mail. If your hard copy submission is accepted, you will be required to submit a digital copy for editing. To submit, please email the address listed below. You may make multiple submissions simultaneously but make each submission individually. May sure cover material is attached to each submission.
Adult Fiction Guidelines:
Please send a letter of introduction with biographical information, a summary of your work and your anticipated target market OR a query letter, synopsis and author bio, and the complete novel. Please specify the genre of the material and the anticipated audience.
Adult Nonfiction:
Please send a letter of introduction with biographical information and a summary of your work OR a query letter, synopsis and author bio, and the complete book. No book proposals. Please specify the topic of the material and the anticipated audience.
Children’s and Young Adult:
Please send a letter of introduction with biographical information and a summary of your work OR a query letter, synopsis and author bio, and the complete book. Include any relevant art, including sketches for ideas or illustrations.
Illustrations:
Please send high resolution digital representations of art or photocopies of original work. Do Not send original copies. Please indicate if you are submitting art to be attached to a specific work, or if you would like to be considered as an illustrator for work we publish.
